-面對學業壓力,Growth Mindset如何能提高同學動力?
Growth Mindset(成長思維)是源於史丹福大學心理學教授Carol Dweck數十年的研究,她發現擁有「成長思維」的同學,更能勇於面對壓力,享受學習。在疫情影響下,不少同學向我們反映因為學習模式的轉變,容易感到挫折和挑戰。有見及此,uTouch特意籌備網上情緒講座,以遊戲元素包裝,深入淺出幫助同學拆解壓力來源,掌握提升動力的方法。
內容:
• 「稱讚」為何有機會令同學不敢冒險,失去自信
• 既有學習模式如何加重同學的壓力,令他們害怕學習
• 最新科學研究如何扭轉我們對學習的印象
• Growth Mindset(成長思維)如何幫助我們面對挫折壓力
• 同學如何逐步實踐成長思維,提高動力和學習成效
Growth Mindset: A strategy to beat academic stress
An online workshop by uTouch, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups
Growth Mindset is based on the research by Carol Dweck, who is the professor of Psychology at Stanford University and has spent decades researching achievement and success. She found out students with a growth mindset are more likely to enjoy the process and continue working hard despite setbacks. Due to the COVID, numerous students struggle with the new learning pattern. In the light of such change, uTouch, as an online outreach team for youth, has prepared an online workshop featuring some emotional tips in the face of academic stress. The talk would illustrate the application of the growth mindset with gaming elements, so as to support students excel with higher motivation.

• How "praise" may damage a student's self-esteem
• How the current learning mindset would create stress and discourage students
• How the recent study of our brain changes the impression towards study
• How the growth mindset supports us face challenges
• How students can apply the growth mindset gradually in their studies
