About the Director

Austrian Director Valentin Hitz started his career as an assistant-director for top-notch European directors. His first short film (Seemannsbegräbnis, 1995) and his first feature (Ratrace, 1998) are shown and awarded at several international film festivals (San Francisco, Zurich, Vienna, etc.). His latest feature, "Hidden Reserves" (2017), earned him The Golden Eye Award for Best Film at the Zurich International Film Festival.

In the not too distant future, powerful companies have seized power. The city, society itself, is deeply divided, with the privileged elite who can afford death insurance dominating the majority who can’t. Insurance agent Vincent becomes a victim of the system he has been so ruthlessly representing. As he tracks down the fascinating activist Lisa, it suddenly strikes him that resistance is a real possibility…
