Every people on this planet need to eat every day, however, have you ever question where does food come from? How does our consumption affect the world?
Hong Kong is a city of over-consumption. While food accounts for 16% of our daily use of renewable natural resources, we produce around 3,600 tonnes of food waste every day. Undoubtedly, Food is a major sustainability issue.
This workshop will cover the following topics to let you rethink of our food system.
- Where does our food come from?
- Environmental impact caused by food production
- Sustainable food system
- Food lost and food waste
