You are cordially invited to the Social Innovation Makers (SIM): Make a Little Thing Achievement Showcase!
Since October 2021, HKBU students in the SIM programme have been taking part in a series of social innovation workshops with a view to creating innovative interventions for three community partners. Although their work plans have largely been hindered by the pandemic, the three SIMMER teams strived to put their ideas into actual practice. These valuable “little things” include: a squeezing game promoting hand-carved mahjong, songs delineating the unique landscape of To Kwa Wan, and an online fun day enhancing social inclusion. Let’s witness the SIMMERs’ commitment to positive social impact and celebrate their achievement in the Showcase!

始 — 見證浸大同學堅持為社區服務的初衷
終 — 欣賞社創籽團隊在疫下積極求變的成果
自2021年10月起，「社創籽：造件小事」的同學們參與一連串社會創新工作坊，並夥拍三個社區團體，對應其需要及服務設計創新點子，在社區中「造」件小事。雖然適逢新一波疫情，三個團隊並無氣餒，付諸行動創造出對社會有價值的成果，包括：推廣傳統手雕麻雀的甩牌裝置、娓娓道出土瓜灣人情味的歌曲和線上的互動共融遊戲日，一件又一件的小事成就出非凡的社區意義。
