Activity Description:
The International Symposium on Humanities, Societies and Digital Futures, organized by the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), will be held on 21-22 March 2024 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The symposium will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) from the perspectives of humanity and society.

This two-day international symposium serves as a prominent platform for thought leaders and experts to delve into the crucial role of humanities in guiding technological advancements and shaping future societies. With a focus on emerging AI technologies, the symposium will feature four distinct sessions that explore the impact on i) ethics, ii) societies, iii) economic development, and iv) education as well as the broader digital future.
