Activity Description:
By collaborating with Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF), this workshop will provide an immersive, hands-on experience in Japanese arts and culture focusing on body movements and the mind-body connection.

What is Noh?
Noh Theatre (能樂, Nogaku), is a theatrical art passed down by generation since the 14th century. It encompasses various components, including music, dance, and drama, characterized by minimalist staging, elaborate costumes, and delicate masks. Noh has been designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO Content Highlights.

What will you Experience?
Discover the essence of Noh theatre in this immersive workshop. Begin with a multi-sensory exploration of Mu-Shin (無心), followed by an illuminating overview of Noh's rich heritage. Through guided practical exercises, experience the fundamental movements and mind-body connections that define this classical art form. Led by experienced theatre practitioners, this workshop blends traditional wisdom with contemporary insights, offering a unique gateway into Japanese theatrical artistry.
