Activity Description:
This three-session, hands-on workshop takes you from attentive watching to confident reviewing. Through practical exercises, a live performance, and guided feedback, you’ll develop a clear critical voice. You’ll leave with a polished first review, a handy checklist, and strategies for pitching or posting.

Session 1 (16/10 18:30-21:00) : What to look and listen for (text, acting, directing, design, context), ethics and bias awareness, smart note-taking, and the anatomy of a review—angle, audience, structure, evidence, and tone.
Session 2 (19/10 14:30-18:00) : Attend Chung Ying Theatre’s production The Play that Goes Wrong (你個戲壞咗呀!), followed by a guided backstage tour to see how artistic and technical choices shape what’s on stage.
Session 3 (23/10 18:30-21:00) : Draft, refine, and finalize your first review—craft a persuasive critique, balance description with insight, and give and receive constructive feedback.
