Lorraine Chan is a former financial journalist who transitioned into corporate communications. She had a long tenure of 20 years at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited where she served as the Head of Corporate Communications, and later became Managing Director of Corporate Affairs at Link Asset Management Limited. Lorraine graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Drawing on her extensive experience in both journalism and corporate communications, Lorraine will share her unique perspectives on the dynamics between financial journalists and corporate communicators, and discuss how both sides can collaborate to fulfil their respective roles.
