[CCL] Service@ TuesDates - Touch of Spring: Make & Share Tactile Fai Chun, Led by Visually Impaired Mentors

Service in a fun and engaging way !

Join us in a Lunar New Year workshop featuring the making of Fai Chun ( 揮春 ) and festive decorations led by visually impaired mentors.
Through hands-on participation, you will explore how tactile elements function as an important mode of communication and creativity beyond vision.
During selected parts of the workshop, you will be blindfolded while creating the decorations, allowing you to experience the process from a visually impaired perspective and to better understand the sensory challenges involved in making and receiving tactile designs.

Participants will work together in small groups on co-creating the decorations and Fai Chun. You will bring home a Fai Chun and a decoration from the experience. Some additional Fai Chun will be created and gifted to visually impaired persons to share the blessing of the festival.

Venue: Amphitheatre
Eligibility: UGC-funded local and non-local undergraduate students
