To strengthen awareness of cybersecurity and data privacy, the Office of Information Technology (ITO) will host Cyber Security and Privacy Week. The initiative aims to promote good digital practices and encourage active participation in safeguarding personal and institutional information.
Event highlights include seminar sessions led by the Hong Kong Police Force and the global cybersecurity consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), offering expert insights into cybersecurity, online safety, and data privacy. The Information Security Team of the Office of Information Technology will also introduce University-wide cybersecurity services and share practical guidance on protecting digital accounts, devices, and information.
In addition to the seminars, students can explore display boards featuring practical tips, join interactive games in the roadshow, and take part in a lucky draw at Li Promenade, creating a lively and engaging campus experience.
